Community Service Project - Supporting Our Foster Kids

The NC State Extension Master Food Volunteers are proud to support local young adults aging out of the foster care system. Every year, we host a special Christmas party to celebrate these resilient individuals and provide them with much-needed essentials.

If you’d like to help us make this season a little brighter, we are currently seeking donations in two key areas:

🎁 Gift Cards

Since we don’t have specific wish lists yet, gift cards are incredibly helpful! We will hold onto these to purchase personalized gifts for participants as the holiday approaches.

🧼 Hygiene & Care Packages

We are collecting essential items to create care kits. Needed items include:

  • Oral Care: Toothbrushes, toothpaste, floss, and mini mouthwashes.
  • Body Care: Body wash and deodorant.
  • Essentials: Feminine hygiene products.

Your generosity makes a direct impact on these young adults during a pivotal time in their lives. Thank you for your support!

What is Music Bingo?

Playing Music Bingo is simple. It works just like regular Bingo, except instead of numbers, the host DJ plays one-minute clips of popular songs, and guests cross the songs off on their cards. The first player to cross off five songs in a row screams “BINGO” and wins a prize!
