N.C. Cooperative Extension in Wilkes and Yadkin Counties, along with the Small Business Center at Wilkes Community College, will offer a one-day workshop for commercial landscape contractors on January 14, 2020.

The program will feature leading professionals in landscape research and science from NC State University, N.C. Cooperative Extension, and local small business experts. Participants will receive all 7 credits required to maintain their NC Landscape Contractors License as well as pesticide credits towards an NC Pesticide License.

Date: Tuesday, January 14, 2020

Schedule: 

8 a.m. Registration Opens

8:30 a.m.–2:15 p.m. Morning Session – $15 /participant

Includes lunch,  5 landscape contractor credits (5 technical ) & 3 NC pesticide applicators credits (L,D,N,X)

2:30–4:30 p.m. Afternoon Session   – $10/ participant

Includes 2 landscape contractor (business) credits

Location: Wilkes Agricultural Center

416 Executive Drive, Wilkesboro, NC 28697

Participants can choose to attend just the morning session (8:30 a.m.–2:15 p.m.), which includes lunch, just the afternoon session (2:30–4:30 p.m.), or all day. Participants must attend the full day in order to receive ALL 7 required licensed NC Landscape Contractor credits necessary to renew your license for 2019-2020.
